On May 5, 2005, CARES was created with a vision to serve those with complicated physical needs especially lymphedema, cancer related debilities and chronic pain. CARES has served our community since with a mission to provide the best one-on-one experience in the Physical Therapy community while also providing Mastectomy Apparel for breast cancer patients and compression for the lymphedema and venous patients. 

Since the first day the doors opened, CARES has had privilege of serving our community with high quality services and now, due to an amazing partnership with HealthActions,  CARES will continue to serve our community.  CARES will be providing services with special concentration on the unique needs of those recovering from or living with Breast Cancer, Head&Neck Cancer, Lymphedema ,Trauma and more. CARES is now located less than 1 mile from our former location on Hillcrest.

I will be working with and through HealthActions to provide Physical Therapy and Lymphedema Management while leading a team of therapists with my almost 30 years of experience to be able to serve people outside of the  Mobile county area with lymphedema needs.  Plus, I will be actively training and guiding the next generation of PT's to carry the torch beyond West Mobile.  The goal is to reach the people served by one of the other HealthActions PT clinics in south Alabama.

• ALL fittings are by appointment.  (251) 344-4212.
• Appointments are made for Mastectomy Products once ALL information from you and your provider are in-hand and insurance benefits are verified regarding product coverage.  (Both a dispensing prescription and a copy of your last visit note your provider are needed). 
• Compression is not billed through insurance at CARES but you are welcome to file it one your own.
• Mastectomy products, non-mastectomy and specialty bras can be purchased without filing insurance.
